Indian Banquets

With its lush, rich backdrop, our Grand Ballroom and generous Bourke Room are the perfect spaces to host your Indian function. Both have a capacity of 200 guests, come with a dancefloor, and have hosted vibrant Indian wedding ceremonies and receptions. 

We offer authentic Indian cuisine for your occasion, with our talented Indian chefs behind a feast which includes tandoori chicken straight from our in-house tandoor, to butter chicken, lamb korma, palak paneer and goan fish curry. We also cater to vegetarian and vegan requirements.

Bridal Showers, Baby Showers & private Afternoon Tea parties

A memorable and elegant way to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers and other special occasions. Our private afternoon tea parties come with attentive wait staff, and are held in one of our dining rooms - the gold-gilded and chandeliered Canberra Room, or the classically-pretty Winston Room with tall Victorian windows.

Afternoon Tea includes:

  • A glass of French sparkling wine on arrival
  • Canapés, ribbon sandwiches, patisserie & scones with strawberry jam & double cream, served on tiered silver stands
  • A selection from our specialty tea menu & coffee

Private Dining at Aru

Aru is the most awarded restaurant in our group, with a menu distinguished by its modern take on Southeast Asian flavours and dishes, deft mingling of native Australian ingredients, and fun, playful creations.

The restaurant has two private dining areas - Banda, a beautiful spotted gum lined room that can be closed off from the restaurant and seats 12, and The Terrace, which seats 30 and has a view of Aru's wine wall. 

Both spaces can be booked separately or together. The entire venue can also be hired out for private events.

Join us for a cocktail function, or a sit-down set menu for lunch and dinner.

Private Dining at Sunda _

Set across two levels, Sunda is one of the coolest dining destinations on Melbourne's gastronomic scene - renowned for its distinctive structure (steel, glass and mesh inspired by the glowing lanterns of Asia) and modern Southeast Asian cuisine.

Book out the mezzanie level (soaring ceilings and floor to ceiling glass) or the ground floor, which offers views into the open kitchen.

Sunda seats 36 guests upstairs and 28 downstairs, and can also be booked out in its entirety.

Private Dining at Antara

The newest addition to our restaurant group, Antara is a stunning bakery and restaurant in-one, with a generous dining hall and private and semi-private dining area. 

This is a venue to dazzle and entertain, with the kitchen, large wood-fired oven and dough room as theatre. Cloister away in the private dining room, where Swiss-made lights, evocative of soft clouds, are suspended overhead. Or open up the tall bi-fold doors to hire out the semi-private and private dining spaces, complete with its own bar.

The private dining room seats 14-20, and the semi-private dining space, 28. The entire venue can also be hired (90 - 150) along with the standing bar at the front.

Antara is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Private Dining at Parcs

After a corporate social responsiblility or environmentally-sustainable restaurant for your next event? Parcs, our 20-seat restaurant and wine bar fits the bill, with a menu and ethos built around considered and sustainable eating. Executive Chef Damien Neylon is behind the transformation of grown and upcycled / surplus ingredients into fine-dining dishes: imperfect strawberries, tea made of broad bean leaves and flowers, and roasted cockerel being some of the dishes you might find on the menu. 

Parcs is hyperseasonal, tapping into the microseasons in which ingredients are at their peak. With a wine list built around biodynamic, sustainable and hand and hoof wineries, this is a venue that promises an intriguing dining experience, brilliantly executed and true to its values.
